At TaskArc, we believe your automation data belongs to you. This policy outlines how our software handles data.

1. Local Execution Philosophy

TaskArc is a desktop application. The scripts you write, the screenshots you capture, and the databases you connect to are stored locally on your machine.

We do not upload your code, images, or credentials to any cloud server. Your intellectual property remains solely in your possession.

2. Data Collection (Telemetry)

To help us improve the stability of the Alpha release, the TaskArc IDE includes an automated crash reporting tool (Sentry.io). If the application crashes, the following anonymous data is sent to us:

Stack Trace (The technical error log)
OS Version (e.g., Windows 10 vs 11)
Python Version

This telemetry does not include your source code, captured images, or database contents.

3. Updates

We may update this policy as the software moves from Alpha to Beta. Significant changes will be communicated via the application updater.
